The local NHS in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire would like your help to understand parents and carers views on future plans for children and young people’s mental health in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Background
A Local Transformation Plan for Children and Young People’s Mental Health will be published on the NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) website on 30th September 2021.
The plan will set out how local services will invest resources to improve children and young people’s mental health across the “whole system”. All local areas are asked to refresh and update these documents and each year the CCG updates the document on our website.
As part of this process, the CCG would like to engage with parents and carers in the community to understand their views and take their advice on key messages. Once we have these views we will create a more accessible public facing document.
How you can help
We need the public’s help to create a more concise public facing version of the plan which will be co-produced with children and young people and parents and carers.
The CCG will be running a series of virtual workshops for parents and carers to share their views.
Participate in one of two virtual workshops taking place on:
Friday 17 September, 1pm to 2pm.
Wednesday 22 September 6pm to 7pm
To register your interest in attending a virtual workshop, please click here .
We are also keen to talk to any groups for parents and carers who are interested in sharing their views and would like to hear more about the work that we are doing. If you are currently meeting either virtually or in a community setting then please do contact the Engagement Team via or call or text 07818580719 in order that we can arrange to attend before 1st October 2021.
*All engagement will end on Friday 1st October 2021.
A copy of the accessible public facing document will be shared on the CCG website and the Integrated Care System website .
We have also attached a leaflet and social media post to highlight the events, we would be grateful if you could share these opportunities through your channels. You can also find information about this engagement on the CCG Website .
If you need any more information, please get in touch with the Engagement Team and to request this information in another language or format please contact the Engagement Team at: or call or text 07818580719. If texting or leaving a message please provide your contact details and a member of the team will get back to you.
