Nottinghamshire County Council:
In preparation for the next financial year the council is now in the process of setting its budget. Each year, we have a legal duty to balance our budget and just like the people in Nottinghamshire, we’re also feeling the pressures that are driving up the cost of living such as record inflation and energy costs. Many other factors, including a national shortage of social care staff and a need for more funding are also adding to those pressures.
The County Council is taking this opportunity to engage with residents and stakeholders by questionnaire between Thursday 17th November and Monday 2nd January to best understand their needs and priorities.
We welcome your views as a Town or Parish Council, being a key stakeholder of council services and being at the heart of our communities.
The easiest way to complete the survey is online at nottinghamshire.gov.uk/budgetsurvey before it closes on Monday 2 January.
For those without digital access printed copies will be available in all Nottinghamshire libraries and children’s centres or you can download a copy of the survey . The survey can also be completed over the phone by calling 0300 500 80 80.
Please share this message with your communities, so we can hear from as many residents as possible and help us make best use of our budget to meet their needs.
