View documentsThe cemetery will remain closed due to high winds. The current forecast (as of Friday 15 March 2019) is that the high winds will become a fresh breeze on Sunday 17 March 2019, if that is the case the cemetery will re-open on Sunday. Notices at the entrance to the cemetery advise that the cemetery is closed, these notices will be removed once the high winds abate.
There have been several incidents over the last few weeks of trees been deliberately cut down and left to fall. This has taken place on the Linear Walk and on the Wynhill Playing Fields.
A report has been made to the Police and this has been classed as criminal damage. If anyone has any information, please contact 101 quoting incident number 168-11032019 or the Town Council on 01949 831445.
